Today we started with our impressions of Spear so far, then we discussed how the author got us to have these impressions and then finished the story Spear by Julius Lester.

In an effort to gear up for writing short story, we are reading short stories this week as writers noting the techniques employed to build character, to move plot and to reveal setting and conflict.
 Today we tea most of "Spear" by Julius Lester.

Today we started by talking about senior trips and fundraising. Then we shared our creative stories.
